Each board begins with hand selected wood.

Next we use our finely tuned templates to trace out the customer's board.

The board hits the band saw for the rough cut.

The template re-enters the process to be used to refine the edges.

After refining the shape we sand the board with 220 & 600 grit sandpaper.

Once the board is prepped we begin applying the customer's custom design.

The board receives a base coat of paint.

After the paint job is completed, the board is sealed with polycrylic.

Holes are carefully drilled for the trucks.

Griptape is applied to meet the customer's request.

We trim the griptape and smooth the edges.

Trucks are attached.

You've got yourself a finished Starr Board ready to ride.

Yeah, when we say "handcrafted" we mean it.
